Additionally, potential patients can be referred to and access our admissions staff to request information about treatment at Rolling Hills, complete an initial assessment over the phone, or schedule an assessment with one of our qualified staff members. We purposefully permit round-the-clock referrals, admission inquiries, and assessments so that those in need of services can engage in treatment as soon as possible.
Additionally, if a referral or potential patient is a better fit for another type of service due to his or her need for a different level of care, the staff at Rolling Hills Hospital can assist professionals, loved ones, or those in need of care with referrals to another service provider.
Furthermore, Dr. Robert Morton, one of our resident psychiatrists who specializes in the treatment of senior adults and individuals with intellectual disabilities, has established strong relationships with many service providers in the State of Oklahoma. Individuals who are more appropriate for other treatment options can be referred to these providers and feel confident in knowing that the most suitable referral has been made.
Lastly, when it has been realized through our thorough and ongoing assessments that a transfer to another health care provider or service is necessary for those individuals who are engaged in treatment at Rolling Hills Hospital, we will work with patients and their families to determine where more appropriate care can be attained. We have excellent relationships with nursing homes, other mental health providers, and hospitals throughout the State of Oklahoma that we can refer patients to in the event a different type of treatment or intervention is required. We will also provide transportation to these providers if it is necessary.
