Medical Director, Dr. Robert Morton, received his medical degree from OU Medical School and completed his internship and medical residency at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Morton went on to complete a Fellowship with the National Institute of Health. After maintaining a private practice in internal medicine for more than 20 years, Dr. Morton completed a psychiatric residency fellowship at OU Medical School.

Dr. Morton joined the Medical Staff of Rolling Hills Hospital as the Medical Director in June, 2003. His compassion and commitment to providing the best possible patient care has been instrumental in the growth of the hospital. Under his leadership, Rolling Hills has developed two new psychiatric treatment programs, geriatric and developmentally disabled. Both programs have been well received by the community, patients and providers and have filled voids in psychiatric treatment for this area of the state.

Director of Nursing, Marilyn Jarrett, was first employed by Rolling Hills Hospital as a staff nurse in September, 2002; she was promoted to Assistant DON and then to DON in October 2005. Ms. Jarrett was graduated from East Central University with a B.S. in Nursing. She has worked in multiple nursing areas, including psychiatric, intensive thoracic care, ICU, surgical care, surgery case management and utilization review.

Director of Business Development, Marc McComas, has three years of experience at Rolling Hills serving as a business development community liaison prior to moving into the Director position. McComas has a Bachelors of Science degree from Southern Nazarene University. He has experience with sales and marketing in multiple industries prior to working in health care. Additionally, McComas has served in the armed forces.

Director of Intake and Admissions, Marla Bronson, has a B.S. in Gerontology and M.S. in Human Resources Counseling, both from East Central University (Ada, Oklahoma). She has more than 27 years experience in behavioral health - 21 years with local mental health services and 6 years at Rolling Hills. Ms. Bronson is a licensed professional counselor, with LPC Supervisor Certification.

HR Manager, Tim Blackwell, joined the facility in 2008. He has experience working in healthcare and other service industries. He has expertise in customer relations, marketing, human resources, employee relations, personnel issues, training and safety issues. He has worked in both California and Oklahoma. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and is currently working on his MBA.

Director of Health Information Management, Sherry Barnes, began her employment with Rolling Hills Hospital as a Medical Coder, in January, 2005; she was promoted to Director of HIM in December, 2008. Mrs. Barnes graduated from East Central University with a B.S. in Health Information Management. She completed her Masters in Public Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 1982. She was a professor at ECU in the HIM Department for 30 years before retiring in 2005.

While teaching in the HIM program, Barnes was also a consultant for intellectually disabled residential facility and served on the Oklahoma Health Information Management Association’s board of director in many offices including President.

CFO, Ted McKinney, will serve in this role during the recruitment of a permanent candidate. Ted lives in Houston, Texas, and has a BBA from University of Texas- Arlington. Ted has more than 30 years experience in healthcare administration.
